How to View, Download, Print and Pay the Lake County Property Tax Bill?

Part 1: Go to Lake County Official Website

To start the online Lake County property tax process, we go to any browser to find the website, or click on the direct link: https://www.lakecountyil.gov/. Once on the site, select and click on the Property Tax Information option.

Part 2: Selecting the Property Tax Bill Inquiry Option

In this part we will select the View your tax bill and Payment History option to view our respective tax bill.

Part 3: Search Lake Property Record for tax

In this section we will perform the search of our property in Lake County, among the options we select the basic search which is the simplest one.

Then we complete the data as accurately as possible and click on the Search button.

Part 4: Selecting Lake Property to View

From the results that appear we select the box of the property to consult the tax bill, we make sure that in the Reports section is the Tax Bill option, and we click on the Go button.

Part 5: Lake County Property Tax Invoice

Now we will see the Physical Tax Bill for our Lake County property. Download and print it to continue with the different payment methods.

Part 6: Payment Methods With Printed Invoice

After printing our Invoice we will be able to make the payment in the following way:

1. By phone: Paying through the Interactive Voice Response System (IVR), with phone number 877-690-3729 (Jurisdiction #7021). By Card and E check.
2. Local Bank: By going to the nearest bank with the invoice and personal information, address and PIN.
3. By Mail: By mailing to PO Box 1030, Bedford Park, IL 60499-1030.
4. In Person: By showing up at the office located at:

How to Pay Lake County Property Taxes Online?

Part 7: Create Lake County Property Tax Payment Online

We will create a payment for our Lake County property tax bill by selecting Payment Options under Property Tax Information.

After select the Option Online Payments with click.

Then click on the Payment Acceptance Option to initiate our online payment.

We accept the payment terms to continue with the creation of the Online Payment.

Part 8: Lake County Property Tax Online Payment Portal

Once we are directed to the Lake County Payment Portal we will click on the Pay Now Button.

To begin the payment we enter our Parcel Number and click on Search.

Then we select the Values we wish to pay and click Continue to Pay.

Then we verify the data and accept the terms of use, and click Continue.

Part 9: Paying Taxes by Credit Card

If we want to pay by credit card, we select the option, fill in the data and click Continue and then Authorize the Transaction.

Part 10: Lake Property Tax Invoice Payment With E-Check

If we want to make the payment with E-Check we select the option in the tab and fill in the Financial data that appears. When we fill in the fields we click on Next.

Then we Authorize the Payment of the Transaction by clicking on the Authorize button.

Finally our payment will be validated, we print our support and save it.
